Public Information Centres

Two rounds of Public Information Centres (PICs) will be held for this study. These PICs are intended to provide the following:

  • PIC 1:
    • An overview of environmental conditions and constraints;
    • Study background (including an overview of previous work done to date) and problem statement for the study;
    • Alternatives to be considered;
    • Process to evaluate and select preferred alternative; and
    • Opportunity for public to review, discuss and provide input on the study with members of the Project Team.
  • The first PIC was held on August 17th and 18th, 2016. Display material from PIC 1 has been posted in our Documents page.

  • PIC 2:
    • Comments/responses from PIC #1;
    • Assessment and evaluation of alternatives;
    • Design of the Preferred Alternative;
    • A summary of potential effects and proposed mitigation measures; and
    • Opportunity for public to review, discuss and provide input on the study with members of the Project Team.
  • The PIC will follow a “drop-in” format without formal presentations. The PIC will be held on:

    A PIC will also be held in the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Community. The PIC will be held on:

    Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory
    April 12th, 2016
    5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
    Mohawk Community Centre, Upstairs Room
    1807 York Road

This will be the second and final PIC for the project.
